natalie nods her head up and down while a smile slowly emerges.

natalie just stares at her. any smile in anticipation of receiving the balloon is now gone.

if I give you a balloon will you let me call you nat?

okay.

rene finishes untying the balloon. all smiles. she triumphantly hands the balloon to natalie.
