lego plane crash
for those raising or about to raise children i'll give you a tip.
they are animals. dogs are animals. eh? eh? get it?
tobias and i put together some lego planes and were flying them around and tobias would always pretend to shoot me down. being the kind and giving father that i am i would always feign damage and take a dive into the rug. over and over he would shoot me down and i would nose dive into a fiery ball of low-pile closed-loop destruction. then this excerpt i read long ago hit me. i remember reading in a dog training book that dogs learn hierarchy through every aspect of their lives including playing games. well being very keen on bringing up a good son i quickly took a mental note on how he put his lego pieces together to make his plane. the next time he pretended to shoot me down i quickly avoided the salvo of fake death and with pinpoint accuracy i collided our lego vehicles together so that the nose of my plane hit a weak part near the joint of his wings to his fuselage. well, you know what happened next: his plane broke in 3 pieces. he couldn't put it together again. i, of course pretended it was an accident but beneath my look of worry was a smile for something i did right.
thank you. -j out.

..the story below is true in the fact that we were playing with lego planes and he kept shooting me down but all that other stuff isn't true.
it's just my warped sense of humour that day.
whenever i send an email that is dark in flavour i always feel bad .. and i try and think 'aww, i'm only joking. it's not like it really happened or anything'. but i always feel guilty afterwards.
weird isn't it? it must be love.
